  hope everyone near to the region affected in california is ok. it's shocking to hear of the destruction.

  these affected areas are some of the places i visited when i came on a tour of the us.

  malibu, santa barbera, la, santa monica, hollywood and so on..

  Do children still get destroyed at Armageddon?

  i know back in the day, that was taught, that if the parents were going to be destroyed, so would the children.

  i just can't easily find reference to anything.

  this thinking has been used to justify some egregious behavior towards children and their parents such as exclusion of children from jw family - why worry, the end is near, all will work itself out then - the end didn't come though.

  Thats all you've known. Thats all you expect & are going to expect. The big 'A' is forever immminent. Its all you know.

  Meanwhile being stripped of your authenticity & potential.

  On the other hand,,, being born into this you learn adaptability. How to be resourceful. When you realize you've been lied too....

  How Do JWs Understand Salvation & What Is Needed to Obtain It?

  from my experience within the jw organization, i understood that salvation meant a person accepted the teachings of the wbts without question as the "faithful and discrete slave," thereby placing their trust in them, not jesus christ.

  salvation consisted of being found "righteous" by jehovah and resurrected to everlasting life in an earthly paradise.

  to obtain this salvation, one needed to obey the organization's teachings, remain a faithful jw, and lead a moral life.

  It is a form of mental abuse & manipulation.

  How the Borg and God are used simultaneously and synonymously to mean the same thing.

  Its sophisticated,, and it works. They go so far as to extend this to bible times to interchange Gods' people with the Israelites & they synonymously use the people in that day to interchange with the JWs in,,,, our modern day of life.

  Its sophisticated mind control. Its manipulative & effective.

  JW children were dealt quite a handful,, weren't they??

  I mean the big 'A' was forever dangling over our heads every waking moment.

  If we weren't doing the Borganizations' will ( Gods' will),,, Armageddon could come open the ground up at at any moment swallowing us all up at any moment.

  Just a horrible way for a kid to grow up.

  Salvation means yielding to and obeying "their God".

  Which is synonymous and interchangeable with the WT organization.

  WT organization is conveniently the same thing as God,,,often used in place of each other to mea thing. Interchangeable.

  So,, therefore,,, if you obey one or the other,,, or do whatever the Borg tells you to do,,,, you have a joice for redemption. Or salvation.

  17 being faithful gullible leads to god’s the cult's approval - thousands of young christian men and women are willingly sacrificing marriage or are not having children - at least for now - in order to serve jehovah the borg to the full.

  older ones too may be sacrificing the time they could otherwise spend with their children and grandchildren in order to work on theocratic construction projects supply free labour or to attend the school for kingdom evangelizers receive deeper indoctrination and to serve in areas where the need for kingdom publishers more suckers is greater.

  My Book of Bible Stories.

  Or I believe it was the Revelation Climax book( if Im not mistaken) there were children about to be swallowed-up by a flood. Or a kid's teddy bear being swallowed up into a crumbling earth. Denoting that nothing or no one escapes the wrath !!
